What:
Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) and 5K Trails Runs
When: Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 7:00 a.m. (5K start
is 7:30 a.m.)
Where: Alafia
River State Park 14326 South County Road 39
Lithia, Florida 33547(SE Hillsborough) on race day the
park will open at 5:45 a.m. (there
is a $4 fee to enter the park) (Pick up race packets on race day)
The race will feature:

- Water Stops on both courses (1/2M - 8 stops, 5K - 2 stops)
1/2 Marathoners please note:
- The course will only be monitored for 3 1/2 hours. Only attempt the Half-Marathon if you think you can complete the race in that time.
- The trails are technical single track and are challenging. We will have 8 water stops on the course, and the trails are clearly marked. Each water stop also has vaseline, sunscreen, and such..
- Trail shoes are not required to complete this race but you might find it easier with them.
- Gatorade and restrooms are available at the 10 mile water stop only (this is the registration area also)
- Volunteers - We need 12-15 volunteers for this race. We have a Run Free/ Bring A Volunteer program for most of our races. Contact jim@tamparaces.com to help us out and run for Free. Volunteers are accepted on a first come - first served basis so get your forms in early.
